As part of the global observance of World Environment Day 2026, led by UNEP, the Gujarat Ecology Society (GES) joined organizations and institutions worldwide in promoting environmental awareness and sustainable development. Through its outreach initiatives under monthly webinar series, GES engage students, researchers, and environmental practitioners in dialogue and action on environmental issues. Gujarat Ecology Society (GES) proudly served as the Knowledge Hub Partner for the International Conference on Resilience (ICR-2026) on 9th and 10th January 2026 hosted by Navrachana University, Vadodara
The conference brought together academicians, researchers, and practitioners to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue on resilience across environmental, social, and urban systems.
